Gold prices in Pakistan have surged to an unprecedented level, with a notable increase of 3,500 PKR per tola today. This fluctuation in gold prices continues, reflecting ongoing volatility in the market.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Jewelers Manufacturers Association, the price of gold has reached 272,000 PKR per tola after this latest rise, while the price for 10 grams of gold has climbed by 3,001 PKR, now standing at 233,196 PKR.
In major cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar, the price for gold per tola has been consistently recorded at 272,000 PKR, and 10 grams at 233,196 PKR following the recent adjustments.
On the international front, gold prices have also increased, with a rise of 35 USD, bringing the price to 2,612 USD per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at 2,950 PKR per tola.
This surge in gold prices highlights the ongoing economic fluctuations and is a significant point of concern for both investors and consumers in Pakistan.
