Gold rate in Pakistan on Oct 23 up by Rs2,000 to Rs285,400/tola
ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat gold per tola dropped by Rs.700 on Saturday, settling at Rs.276,000, down from Rs.276,700 on the previous trading day.
In addition, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs.601, bringing it to Rs.236,625, compared to Rs.237,226 earlier. The price for 10 grams of 22 karat gold also decreased, now priced at Rs.216,907, down from Rs.217,456, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with per tola silver priced at Rs.3,050 and 10 grams at Rs.2,614.88.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $6, moving from $2,663 to $2,657. This drop in local gold prices reflects a corresponding decrease in global rates.
Just a day prior, gold prices in Pakistan had also decreased, with per tola gold falling by Rs.300 to Rs.276,700, and 10 grams of gold selling for Rs.237,226 after a reduction of Rs.256, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
