Honda maintains a strong market presence in Pakistan, with the Honda CD 70, CG 125, and Pridor being particularly popular.
Market experts indicate that the Honda Pridor 100cc accounts for over 40% of the market. Two-wheelers are the most widely used form of transportation in Pakistan, with Honda significantly dominating over other domestic and imported motorcycle brands.
Previously, the federal government removed import tax exemptions on various items, including luxury vehicles worth $50,000 or more, which will now face higher taxes and duties.
The government has set a tax collection target of Rs12,970 billion for the upcoming fiscal year, which will be achieved through increased income and sales tax collections, higher import duties on luxury items, and broadening the tax net to include more taxpayers.
An increase in sales tax and import duties on raw materials is likely to raise the price of the Honda Pridor 100cc and other motorbikes in the coming months.
Despite fluctuations in the rupee’s value, the Honda Pridor 100cc remains the top-selling motorcycle, surpassing many competing local models. However, rising prices pose affordability challenges for prospective buyers of the Honda Pridor 100cc and similar models.
Honda Pridor Latest Price in Pakistan
