ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) continues to facilitate Pakistani nationals with its National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), which is essential for those traveling abroad or residing overseas.

The NICOP allows dual nationals to enter Pakistan without a visa and can be applied for at any NADRA office within Pakistan. For overseas Pakistanis, the service is available online or at their respective consulates, and a valid passport is required for Smart NICOP applications.

Fee Details for Saudi Arabia and UAE

NADRA has classified countries into Zone A (e.g., Europe, Canada) and Zone B (e.g., Saudi Arabia, UAE). For 13 January 2025, NICOP fees for Zone B countries remain unchanged:

Saudi Arabia (SAR):

  • Executive: SAR150

UAE (AED):

NICOP Application Process in Pakistan

In Pakistan, the corresponding fees are:

  • Normal: Rs5,563
  • Urgent: Rs8,346
  • Executive: Rs11,128

Applicants can visit any National Registration Center (NRC) for the process, which includes token issuance, biometric data collection (photograph, fingerprints, and signature), data entry, and form review before submission.

Online NICOP Application

Overseas Pakistanis can opt for NADRA’s online Pak Identity service or mobile app for a streamlined process, including doorstep delivery. Fees for Zone A countries stand at $39 (normal), $57 (urgent), and $75 (executive).
