
Gold prices surge by Rs1,100 in Pakistan
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,100, reaching Rs314,800 on Monday, compared to Rs313,700 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs943, now priced at Rs269,890, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs865, reaching Rs247,408.
Silver prices, however, remained unchanged at Rs3,530 per tola and Rs3,026 per 10 grams.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $13, now at $2,997 per ounce, while silver remained steady at $33.85 per ounce.
Meanwhile, gold prices also increased in Saudi Arabia, where 24-karat gold per tola reached 4,196 Saudi Riyals (SAR). 10 grams of gold is now selling for SAR 3,601, and an ounce of gold is priced at SAR 11,201.
