
Gold price hits new record high
The ongoing tariff war between the US and China on a global scale has left investors in a state of uncertainty, as a result of which gold prices have reached a new high in history.
On Thursday, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan hit a record high, reaching Rs328,800 per tola after a sharp increase of Rs7,800. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went up by Rs6,688, now standing at Rs281,893. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs258,411.
Silver prices also climbed, with 24-karat silver per tola now priced at Rs3,234 after a Rs64 increase. On the global market, gold prices rose by $78, reaching $3,118 per ounce.
