47 prisoners test positive for Coronavirus in Punjab

The Federal Ombudsman has told the Supreme Court of Pakistan that forty-seven prisoners in different jails of Punjab have been tested positive for the new virus COVID-19. The ombudsman secretariat revealed the status of of implementation of jails reforms in Pakistan in its sixth report. According to the details, the report was submitted to the apex court through senior legal consultant Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar.
