“People should know how to respect women.”

Gul explained she was in a different state of mind when she appeared on that show but that doesn’t mean people can make fun of her.

“Anyone can be in any state of mind during a live show. Sometimes people say things which they did not actually mean to say. It does not mean we make fun of them publically.”

She concluded by saying,

“I have apologized for my unintentional mistake, this topic must be closed by now.”

After she was being trolled on social media, Zartaj Gul took to her official Twitter account and tweeted,

“Every day I appear on national TV and speak without a piece of paper (parchi). I wanted to say that the infection’s effect and intensity vary across different countries. Instead of crying on the situation over a minor mistake, maybe that will be better for them. I am not afraid of criticism, it strengthens me.”
