One of the top Italian doctors has claimed that the deadly coronavirus has become weak and may disappear without even a need for a vaccine. 

According to Professor Matteo Bassetti, the head of infectious diseases clinics at Italy’s Policlincioa Martino hospital, the virus has become less deadly. It has become like a wild cat from tiger.

He claimed that the virus has weakened that it could die on its own.

The professor said that he recently has seen elderly patients recovering from it who would have died earlier on in the pandemic before.

Bassetti told the international media outlet that,

“It was like an aggressive tiger in March and April but now it’s like a wild cat. Even elderly patients, aged 80 or 90, are now sitting up in bed and they are breathing without help.” 

Many doctors have made similar claims in the past but got criticism for being over-optimistic.
