A three-member NAB team will interrogate Shahbaz sharif at his personal residence today for ‘income beyond means’ investigation.

According to details, a three-member team will interrogate PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif at his residence, in the Lahore Waste Management Company scam and income beyond means investigation.

As per the sources, Shahbaz Sharif will also be questioned over the Ramzan Sugar Mill Case.

A questionnaire will be handed over to Sharif for further interrogation in the corruption cases against him.

The questionnaire contains several questions about the Lahore Waste Management Company scam, including why he had approved a summary for constitution of the waste management company against the recommendations of finance and law ministries?

The three-member NAB team comprises of Additional Director Muhammad Aftab, Additional Director Muhammad Arshad and Deputy Director Khurram Shehzad.

Sharif Family spokesperson Ata Ullah Tarar confirmed NAB’s notice regarding the income beyond means case.

The questionnaire includes questions like, Who had authorised outsourcing the contract to the IS Tech Company for $320 million?, Why it was necessary to form a new company while Solid Waste Management’s PMU was actively performing same functions?

Shahbaz Sharif coordinated with his legal team over the interrogation.

Last week, an Accountability Court (AC) extended judicial remand of Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz for another 14 days in assets beyond income case.

During the hearing, the court has directed National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to produce the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader on October 16.
