Sindh Education Department has introduced online education for primary schools.

According to the Sindh Education Department, online education will be provided to students from KG to 5th class through an app called ‘SELD Learning’.

An online education plan has been developed with the help of UNICEF and Microsoft.

Mathematics, Science, English, and Urdu will be taught online while online courses are available in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.

Earlier, the Sindh Education & Literacy Department (SELD) has announced online classes for students of public schools.

According to the details, and issued notification in this regard stated that The department in a tripartite collaboration with UNICEF and Microsoft has established an online digital classroom platform for 6 to 12 graders.

The online classes will be launched with the help of The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and Microsoft, with 75 masters trainers to train teachers regarding holding online classes.

IT experts have been hired to conduct the online classes, the notification read. The secretary education issued directives for all district directors to provide data of teachers and students by June 17.
