Punjab Education Department has decided to reduce the examination syllabus 20201 for all classes.
According to the details, the education department has decided to reduce the examination syllabus of all classes to 2021 for the educational institutions closed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Punjab Textbook Board has prepared syllabus of all subjects according to which the syllabus of all subjects has been reduced by 40 to 50 percent.
The Punjab Textbook Board says that the syllabus of all subjects has been reduced by 40 to 50 per cent and specific and important subjects of each course are part of the syllabus.
According to the Punjab Textbook Board, the syllabus has been prepared for a period of 6 months i.e. from September to February.
Director Curriculum and Expert Teachers of Punjab Textbook Board reviewed the smart syllabus and said that 8th, 9th and 10th class examinations will also be made from the same syllabus.
Earlier, School Education Department in Punjab has finalized Coronavirus SOPs regarding the reopening of schools across the province following prevention of the virus spread among students and staff members.
Under the SOPs, the temperature of every student and staff member will be checked before allowing them to enter the school premises.
Schools will be responsible for ensuring the availability of hand sanitizers for all students and staff members.
