The (Pakistan Medical Council) PMC has taken a big decision on the reservations of aspiring students for the MDCAT Test 2020 syllabus for admissions in medical colleges.
The PMC has clarified that the provincial examination institutes will conduct the entrance tests as per the prescribed syllabus.
According to the PMC, The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) is responsible for conducting entrance examinations of medical colleges, NUMS will be responsible for conducting examinations and security and related matters.
The PMC said that a special committee has been constituted for uniform curriculum across the country. The committee will have equal representation of Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and the provinces.
This special committee will prepare guidelines for the preparation of MDCAT test. The committee will ensure uniform syllabus for MDCAT test across the country. The committee will ensure selection from the syllabus of the entrance examination test.
NUMS 2020 entry test will be conducted on October 11 as per the decision taken by PMC on October 3.
Students can download their roll number slips from the official source, which will be required to appear in the examination.

- After placing in the CNIC number, you will enter the Captcha code in the allocated space
- Click on ‘Get Admit Card’ and slip will generate
- Print the slip
Overseas candidates will have to enter the NICOP in the space while overseas candidates will have to enter their passport numbers instead of their CNIC numbers.
