Exams dates for classes Prep to 8 across Pakistan announced

The dates of exams for Prep to class 8 have been announced on Tuesday during an inter-provincial meeting of the education minister. As per the details, exams from classes five and eight will begin from May 18 whereas, exams for classes one to four, sixth and seventh will be commenced from June 01.

As per the notification issued, classes from Prep to eight will remain close till April 28 and after that, the classes would be resumed online.

On the other hand, the academic session of ninth to 12th would resume from April 19.

“The exams for classes five and eight will commence from May 18,” the notification read further adding that the “examination for classes one to fourth, sixth and seventh would begin from June 01.”

The notification further stated that soon the federal directorate will make an announcement of the exam schedule and added it could be modified.

Earlier, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood took to Twitter after his press conference and advised students to start preparing and working hard as the decision will not be changed.

The Minister said that all the decisions were unanimously made in the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) meeting held today.

He wrote:
