The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has compiled a comprehensive list of officials who will play vital roles during the electoral process.

The list includes presiding officers, assistant presiding officers, and polling staff.

The Election Commission has revealed that a total of 1,007,361 officers will be appointed nationwide to ensure the smooth conduct of the elections. Here’s a breakdown of the figures for different provinces:

Punjab: In Punjab, the Election Commission plans to assign 54,706 presiding officers, 310,968 assistant presiding officers, and 160,445 polling staff for election duties. This totals 526,123 officers in the province.

Sindh: The province of Sindh will see 20,315 presiding officers, 162,523 assistant presiding officers, and 81,262 polling staff taking on election responsibilities. This brings the total number of officers in Sindh to 264,100.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ECP will appoint 16,525 presiding officers, 100,085 assistant presiding officers, and 50,045 polling staff. This adds up to a total of 166,655 officers.

Balochistan: The province is set to nominate 50,491 officers, which includes 5,266 presiding officers, 30,150 assistant presiding officers, and 15,075 polling staff.

These officials play a crucial role in ensuring the fairness and transparency of the election process, and their appointment is a significant step as the country prepares for upcoming elections.
