Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan raise voice against #Metoo misuse
Pakistani showbiz celebrities are condemning misuse of the international movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault ‘#Metoo’.
According to details, Mr Afzal, who was an English Lecturer at Govt MAO College Lahore, committed suicide after false harassment allegations by a female student.
No confirmation letter was given by the management even after the charges were proven to be wrong.

It angers me that an innocent man would kill himself because of wrongly being accused and it boils my blood that another can raom around free after raping someone. Whether you misuse the #metoo movement or delay accountability on it, the result is the same -death.

Mahira Khan took her twitter to condemn the incident saying, “It angers me that an innocent man would kill himself because of wrongly being accused and it boils my blood that another can raom around free after raping someone. Whether you misuse the #metoo movement or delay accountability on it, the result is the same -death.”
