A petition has been filed in Lahore’s civil court to halt the last episode of drama serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ from airing.

The petition has filed by a lady named Maham through her lawyer.

She filed a plea to halt the last episode of the drama.

The drama serial features Ayeza Khan, Humayun Saeed, Hira Mani, Adnan Siddiqui and others.

In the petition, the lady has stated that the drama had put negative impact on the Pakistani women.

It also continued to downgrade the women in our society.

The court, after hearing the arguments of Maham, has issued notices to the concerned for January 24, 2020.

The last episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho likely to screen in cinemas on January 25, 2020.

Khalilur Rehman Qamar’s ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ is one of the most talked-about dramas in Pakistani television.

Mere Paas Tum Ho last episode not to release on YouTube

However, the last episode will not upload on YouTube.

It is pertinent to mention here that all previous episodes of the drama uploaded on YouTube the same day they were aired on TV.

According to the channels management, the episode might be uploaded on YouTube later on.

The last episode will have duration of two hours and it will screen in cinemas nationwide.

Humayun Saeed has revealed that the final episode might screen in cinemas outside Pakistan as well.
