Mehwish Hayat makes her way to BBC show produced by Angelina Jolie

Pakistan’s star Mehwish Hayat gets another success as she is all set to appear in a BBC show produced by Angelina Jolie.

Tamkha-e-Imtiaz holder Mehwish Hayat shared a short video of the show on her Instagram. Mehwish raises a much considerable point during her interview that artists should be given equal wages to both male and female artists.

In addition to this, she also discussed the significance of social media in the correct manner.

She said in the video, “I really want the male actor and the female actor to get an equal amount of money so they get the equal amount of respect,”

“Social media, if used in the right way, can be really helpful, healthy and progressive. It can build people up.”

Mehwish Hayat talked about her part in the entertainment industry as well.  “The roles that I have done, they have been the ones that have broken stereotypes.”

The show named “BBC My World” is executive produced by the popular Angelina Jolie. The show aims to enable the viewers to stop fake news.

The show will be aired weekly on Sundays on BBC.
