Sajal Ali, other celebs mourn the untimely demise of Legend Irrfan Khan

Pakistan’s talented actress Sajal Ali expresses deep grief over the sad loss of Bollywood industry’s legendary star Irrfan Khan.

Versatile actor, Irrfan Khan, passed away in Mumbai on Wednesday aged 53 while battling a colon infection.

Sajal Ali took to Instagram to lament for Irrfan Khan’s sad demise.

Posting Irrfan’s soulful picture, Sajal wrote, “Shocked and sad! What a brilliant actor he was. Rest In Peace.”

The actor was hospitalized on April 28 evening and placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) because of a colon infection.

The legend survived by his wife Sutapa Sikdar and two sons Babli Khan and Ayan Khan.

The news comes just two days after the actor’s mother Saeda Begum breathed her last on Saturday in Jaipur.

However, owing to the ongoing lockdown in India, the actor could not physically attend his mother’s last rites.

He reportedly paid his last respect through video conferencing.

A couple of months later, he flew to London to continue the treatment and returned to India after his surgery in September 2019.

Many more Bollywood celebrities and other media personalities lead tributes to the most legendary actor.

They said that Irrfan’s loss is not only the loss for his family, but for the entire cinema and industry.
