This year, Eid-ul-Fitr is quite different as compared to other years. Firstly, the entire world is grappled due to the Coronavirus pandemic which claimed millions of lives. Secondly, a recent PIA plane crash left the entire nation in deep sorrow which took around 97 lives.
Eid is usually a happy and wonderful occasion for which we get new clothes, prepare delicious foods and make plans to see loved ones, this time around is a somber time; we’re unable to leave the house, can’t meet any family and friends. Not only this but many Pakistanis lost their loved ones in a horrible plane crash.
However, Pakistani celebrities took their social media accounts to extend Eid greetings and pay homage to the martyrs. They also urged citizens to stay at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Celebs wish Eid-ul-Fitr and express their feelings:

I just wish this year I could say to everyone Eid Mubarak and not have to give warnings, condolences or tell people to stay safe. I just hope in this minute, right now everyone is at peace, intouch with their loved ones and praying for a better tomorrow
