Singer Rihanna has been named one of Britain’s richest women with a net worth of £468 million.
The pop-star, due to her successful cosmetic brand ‘Fenty Beauty’ is now based in London and has receive the crown of the richest woman.
Rihanna’s huge wealth is thanks in part to success of her Fenty business brand, which stretches from cosmetics to fashion. She is ranked 48th in the list of wealthiest women.
Last year, there were 136 women in the UK’s Sunday Times Rich List, of whom 22 were billionaires.
In an interview a year back, the singer, said: “I never thought I would make this much money, so a number is not going to stop me from working.”
Earlier, Pop-star Rihanna announces to fund a large amount to fight the Coronavirus pandemic affecting the whole globe.
She donated $5 million to relief organizations helping those affected badly by COVID-19. The singer has joined forces with Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey.
She has announced to fund $4.2 million that would help domestic violence victims in Los Angeles. The news was announced by Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation, on Twitter.
