The Federal Minister of Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that Pakistani drama Dhoop Kinare has resumed playing in Saudi Arabia.
Dhoop Kinare is a hit 1987 drama serial on aired on PTV. The drama revolved around a group of doctors’ personal and professional life. Actors Rahat Kazmi and Marina Khan were the main leads, and Haseena Moin was the director of the show.
The tweet read:
“Pak Dramas Dubbing in Arabic resumes, to be shown in KSA.”
This is the result of Chaudhry ‘s visit to the Saudi capital last year, where he announced plans to export television series to the Kingdom in the near future.

Three Pakistani drama serials were selected for Arabic dubbing, namely Dhoop Kinare, Tanhaiyan, and Aahat. Due to budget constraints, Pakistan Television Corporation delays in the dubbing process of two dramas.
However, according to Dr. Lubna Farah, the translation expert said that the Arabic version of drama serial Dhoop Kinare has been completed and ready to be aired.
