Legendary Tariq Aziz’s last, hopeful words will leave you weeping

Legendary TV host Tariq Aziz, who passed away at the age of 84 on Wednesday, in his last video message paid tribute to all the frontliners working tirelessly in the battle against COVID-19.

Tariq Aziz in his video message said that no one knows when this ongoing deadly virus will end, but the doctors of Pakistan, paramedics staff and nurses have proven themselves to be the real heroes of our nation.

He assured the frontliners that they will succeed in this fight and congratulated them on behalf of the whole nation.

The ‘Neelam Ghar’ host also made it clear that if the paramedical staff work with the same spirit, Pakistan will for sure beat Coronavirus and it will be thrown very far away.

At the end of the video, Aziz also added a strong and hopeful poetry for the frontline warriors.

Tariq Aziz passed away yesterday at the age of 84 and was laid to rest in Lahore.

One of the heights of his career was famed PTV show ‘Neelam Ghar’ which was later named ‘Tariq Aziz Show’ in (1997) and later Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz in 2006.

He was also involved in politics and was a member of the National Assembly in the late 90s. Aziz was also known for his charity work for the needy and poor.

The government of Pakistan in 1992, conferred him Pride of Performance award for his remarkable services for the nation.

Soon after the news of his demise broke out, celebrities and his fans took to social media to pay their heartiest condolences on this sad news to the man who is considered the face of PTV’s golden days.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Dr Arif Alvi were deeply saddened to hear the news of Tariq Aziz’s loss and offered their respect to the late TV host.
