Coronavirus positive test news is fake: Says Mehwish Hayat

Mehwish Hayat is a Pakistani film actress who is known for her roles in Load Wedding, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, and Actor in Law. She was honored by the Government of Pakistan with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2019

She wrote on the twitter account, she was not coronavirus positive even though the rumor mills were buzzing otherwise.

Mehiwsh Hayat coronavirus test positive?

“Not true!!! I just wish that our media would be more responsible and check their facts before posting such stories,” she added.

“Call me and check instead of posting anything you feel like for the sake of ‘followers’ and ‘likes’. This has caused a great deal of distress to family and friends.”
