We will soon see Robbert Pattinson playing the iconic role of ‘The Batman’ but being the Batman is not an easy task.

The Twilight actor shared his diet and workout regimen and it sounded pretty difficult.

In the recent issue of an international magazine, Pattinson revealed that to look perfect and fit for the role, the regimen includes very less consumption of alcohol and more working out.

To get the perfect abs, Pattinson did three sets of 25 repetitions per move of bicycle crunches, dumbbell side bend, double crunches, and a superman.

Pattinson ran 5-10 km three to four times per week for his cardio workout. For his general strength, Robert performed army-style heavy sandbag routines on the beach along with boxing.

To get his mind at peace, he took long walks almost every day.

For his diet, Pattinson revealed he at less processed meat and fried foods as well as, he cut down on alcohol.

“It’s all about pushing boundaries and building up to a point where you know you can do justice to the physicality required,” said Pattinson.

The actor also specifically mentioned Chris Hemsworth, The Rock, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans as the “true warriors of the superhero genre,” adding that he talked to some of the actors ahead of his performance as The Batman.

Production on The Batman is currently paused due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The film has been given the green light to begin production again in the UK, but cameras have not started rolling yet.
