Moreover, addressing why he didn’t sing the anthems for PSL season 4 and 5, Ali Zafar in a live chat stated: “I hadn’t wanted to do the 2nd and 3rd PSL anthem but I did and they became huge hits after the first one. However, for the 4th and 5th season, the PCB seem to have their own reasons and preferences for the singer and I totally respect that.” Zafar further added on to state how he couldn’t force the board for anything.

Moreover, netizens, after the flop PSL 5 anthem, requested Ali Zafar to release his own track. The request came forward as ‘Mela Loot Liya‘ which now has crossed 8 million plus views on YouTube.
