Bol Entertainment always comes up with innovative content generation ideas to keep all its audiences entertained. With its new show, The Katakat Show with Mr. Bol Bachan hosted by none other than the singer-composer Zaain is one such example that will keep hooked the audience in times of the pandemic.

At such a time when the radio is dead and buried in its once-loyal listeners’ memory lane, the show’s concept focuses on reviving this form of media – as to what we call podcasts in the present age.

The first episode of the show was premiered on 7th July 2020. In the first segment of the popular show Zaain along with his co-host, Dr. Rafia played pranks on different callers throughout the episode. During one of the calls, Rafia played a call center agent who was instructing the caller (the one on whom the prank was being played on) in English while he had selected Urdu as the medium of instruction.

After the caller got frustrated because of not being able to understand anything, Zaain stepped in only to make him angrier. It was only when the target caller lost his cool and started name-calling both the hosts, they broke it to him that he was only played on and all this was a harmless prank.

The show picked up pace when Mathira joined the two. There was a lot of chit chat about her professional life and upcoming plans in the industry. The bold and beautiful actress-turned-host revealed that currently, she is aiming to be financially stable rather than focusing on anything else.

Mathira later went on to call Faysal Qureshi, who hosts Khush Raho Pakistan on the channel. Poor Qureshi became a victim of the prank and was made a Katakat. Zaain joined the bandwagon and finally revealed to him that it was all a joke.
