Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and friend of Kanye West, has asked the singer to delay his presidential campaign until 2024.

Following the latter’s declaration on Twitter, Musk, who declared support for Kanye, recently sat for an interview with The New York Times.

He claimed the singer might be “accused of splitting the Black vote with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden”.

Musk said,

“I’ve done my best to convince him that 2024 would be better than 2020.”

Speaking on how close he and Kanye are, the Tesla magnate said “fairly often” he and the singer message each other.

Kanye has been in the headlines for his fight with wife Kim Kardashian, following his decision to run for president.

The singer wanted to divorce Kim Kardashian.

Kanye later apologized in a message to the reality television star, which he shared during a meeting with singer Justin Bieber.

Bieber has told him to stop avoiding Kim Kardashian according to sources.
