Rapper Kanye West and Travis Scott released a new song with its video ‘Wash Us In The Blood’.
The track, from the 10th studio album ‘God’s Country’ recently announced by the rapper, is the first new music from him since the release of ‘Jesus Is King’ in 2019.
The song’s lyrics vary between metaphors and street themes of rain, blood, and washing. The densely edited clip directed by Arthur Jafa, includes even computer-generated images of the rapper West.

The song continues West’s recent gospel-themed music, as is evident from the title, but it’s harder-edged than its last few songs, recalling the bruising beats of ‘Yeezy.’
The video is a hard-hitting compilation of clips from recent demonstrations, as well as from church services and even a snapshot of video footage of the moments leading up to the assassination of Ahmad Arbery in Georgia, one of the killings that have led to mass demonstrations in the U.S. over the past weeks.
