One of Pakistan’s top model Alyzeh Gabol opened up about her anxiety and depression. The model was away from all social media platforms which drew the attention of many people.

Today, Gabol told everyone about fighting with her own demons and how only Allah helped her from getting out of every trouble she had been facing for past months. The model wrote,

“I know it has been a while & I want to thank each & every one of you for so many messages, the concern & the love u guys sent my way shows there is still some humanity out there♥️”

She further wrote,

“It has been a really tough time for me as much as I wanted to share my beautiful experience of Aitekaf with you all, unfortunately, I have been caught up with fighting my own demons. It’s hard, no matter how many people u have around you who are there to listen to you or tell you it’s all gonna be okay it’s only you with yourself at the end of the day, and that’s the hardest part. “

This Ramadan I have made the decision to isolate myself to perform Itekaf without any contact with the outer world. I would like to take this space to ask for forgiveness from anyone I have hurt intentionally or unintentionally. If i have upset you or did something in the past to hurt you whether it was something i said to your face or behind your back ! Please find it in your heart to forgive me and please pray that the next few days pass by with ease for me & Allah accepts my Itekaf & my ibadat please pray that whoever’s asked me to pray for them for whatever duas they’ve asked me to make for them whoevers names i am to take in my duas Allah unn sab ko qabool karein Ameen. Please keep me in your prayers as I can’t wait to experience this blessed journey Allah has blessed me with & to see what unfolds before me as our lord says; ‎ •‎ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ “Call upon Me; I will respond to you” May Allah strengthen our Iman, accept our rozas, ibadat and forgiveness & bring us closer to our religion and put us onto the right path even after Ramadan Ameen ♥️

Gabol told about her anxiety, panic attacks and how she faced the,

“Anxiety, depression, panic attacks it’s all REAL it exists no matter how u want to escape it there comes a time that u have to face it all and all alone because no one will understand no matter much they wanna help only you can help yourself and it all comes down to how you fight it.”

She even told her followers about the experience during that time,

“A human brain is like a jar it works with what u keep feeding it so there’s only too much it can take until comes a time when the jar pops & that’s okay this is the time when you’ll feel lonely like everything is falling apart, fearful thoughts, suffocation, paranoia, sweaty palm, palpations you name it & I have been experiencing that all lately.”

Alyzeh went on to write that her loved ones helped her to overcome the situation, but only Allah saved her,

“My loved ones are the only ones who tried helping me out of it by telling me it’s because of the pandemic or the changes we are facing but trust me none of it makes sense to me I have still not fully recovered but I m strong enough to come back out there & let you guys know that it’s hard it’s not easy but we need to keep fighting for the people who love us our families and most of all for ourselves but the ONLY thing that helps & matters is your relationship with ALLAH no matter how much you do for this world you’ll always face disappointments and trust me when I say this the only thing that is helping me through this is my Namaz & my connection with God.”

She concluded by writing that no one except Allah can save us from everything,

“We have our families, our loved ones, friends but once you fix your connection with your Lord you don’t need Anybody until we fix our relationship with our maker nothing will ever seem enough n you’ll never be at peace this is something that I have experienced on my own & trust me no one LITERALLY NO ONE can save u but ALLAH.”
