It’s been some time since the banning of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) in Pakistan. People on social media have been up in arms since the news broke, pleading with the government to unban the famous video game. Many notable celebrities have voiced their disappointment.

Popular music artist Asim Azhar is the new Pakistani celebrity to express his disapproval over PUBG ban.

To oppose the needless ban on the highly addictive video game, the “Tum Tum” singer took to his social media account on Twitter and requested Prime Minister Imran Khan not to let the youth down. In a series of tweets.

He also shared his opinions and thoughts on the issue. The famous singer said a video game ban will not make any difference unless we educate the youngsters.

Asim also gave an example of how this practice of banning stuff is incorrect, case in point, YouTube’s ban has set Pakistani content creators back several years.

Asim also asked Waqar Zaka, who started the trend #ImranKhanPUBGKholo, if he could be of any use.

The Soneya singer also requested to the youth not to use hate speech during the protest of the ban.
