Bollywood upcoming movie Sadak 2, featuring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt, has been slammed for copying a Pakistani song.

Sadak 2 is the sequel of the 90s’ classic movie of the same name. According to details, the movie comes under hot water for copying the work of Pakistani singer Shezan Saleem aka JO-G.

JO-G who is the son of veteran musician and singer, Saleem Javed, took to his Twitter account and uploaded a video of Sadak 2 trailer and comparing the song played with his 2011 released composition.

JO-G said,

“A trailer for a Bollywood movie called Sadak 2 has just been released, and there is a song in it called Ishq Kamaal.

“After listening to it, I realized that it sounds like a composition I had produced for a friend around 11 years ago. The friend’s name is Zaid Khan. I think they’ve copied it because not only the melody but the music is also very similar,” he continued to say.

He played both the songs and asked,

“What does the public have to say?”

It should be mentioned here that the upcoming Mahesh Bhatt’s movie trailer has become one of the most disliked videos on YouTube. It has received 6.9 million dislikes.
