Shaista Lodhi plants tree and urges people to do the same

Actress-cum-host Shaista Lodhi has always seen doing and promoting good deeds. Today, the Waada actress uploaded a picture on her social media account of planting a tree.

Taking to her Instagram, the doctor-cum-actress wrote,

“Planting a tree is a lifelong investment. The temperature in Karachi is changing one degree a year! There is a growing global consensus that climate change is humankind’s greatest threat in modern times and planting trees could help fight Climate change.”

She went on to write,

“Trees are natural coolers of our planet: they absorb the excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and help produce clouds; very needed in a desert-like Karachi, Pakistan. Plant a Tree!”

Her fans and followers have appreciated her initiative and showered love and blessings upon her.

It must be noted that Shaista Lodhi is the sister of famous Pakistani celebrity Sahir Lodhi. She entered the entertainment industry as a morning show almost a decade ago.
