On Tuesday, Pakistan has lost one of its legendary actors as comedian-actor Mirza Shahi took his last breath.
According to the details, the veteran actor was being treated at the Civil Hospital.
Earlier this month, Mirza Shahi was in critical condition due to Coronavirus complications.
Mirza Shahi started his entertainment career in 1965. He had been a prominent part of famous Pakistani dramas including Nadaniyan, and Qudusi Sahab ki Bevah.
The late actor also worked in other dramas like Haye Jedi, Eid Train.
Mirza Shahi showed the essence of acting in several super hit films including Chakori, Chhote Sahib.
It should be mentioned here that few days earlier, the actor’s nephew Muhammad Hassan Shahi said that the actor had been hospitalized for the past two days.
“He was shifted onto a ventilator early Wednesday after he developed complications related to the Coronavirus,” said Hassan. “His oxygen levels were dropping.”
He said the actor’s wife and daughter have also tested positive for COVID-19 and they are currently in quarantine.
According to Shahi’s nephew, the actor and his wife had been bedridden the past year. He was also diabetic.
