Prince Harry is reportedly heading back to their home in England.
The reports say that Sussex’s home in England was preparing for the arrival. The news has raised eyebrows as the couple is visiting the UK for the first time since making his last appearance at the Commonwealth Day in March.
The move has raised various questions: why is Prince Harry going back? Will Meghan Markle and son Archie also return? When will Prince Harry return?
Dividing time between California and the UK was a plan for the couple. Meghan and Harry said in a statement on January 8, “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America,” “This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter.”
A source close to the couple told ‘Vogue’, “There have been a lot of rumors circulating about this. Had it not been for COVID and travel restrictions, they would have already been back in the U.K. For events like Beatrice’s wedding and Trooping of the Colour, for example.” So, their return was inevitable.
Markle’s court case against the publisher of The Mail on Sunday can be an answer to when the couple will return. The case officially begins on January 11, 2021, and lasts 10 days. The couple is likely to return before the start of the trial as they will face quarantine after traveling to the UK from America. This means Harry and Meghan are likely to leave the U.S. in late December.
