Composer duo Salim-Sulaiman pays tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the true icon for all music lovers, is being remembered on his 72nd birthday today.

He has a vast circle of fans not only in Pakistan but in India as well.

On his birthday, the renowned music composer duo Salim-Sulaiman has presented the tribute to the late Qawwal.

The music duo is soon releasing their version of ‘Allah hu’ to honor Khan Sahab. ‘Allah hu’ is one of the most loved Qawwalis by Khan Sahab and holds immense significance.  Salim and Sulaiman will perform ‘Allah hu’ to promote love and unity.

According to a local news source, Salim said, “We have grown up listening to his songs. He is a huge inspiration to the entire music fraternity across the world. We are celebrating the Ustad’s birthday by singing his most-loved qawwali and will release it via Merchant Records.”

Sulaiman also paid homage to the late singer, “He was widely acclaimed for his spiritual charisma. This is our ode to the sufi legend. For those who cannot understand the lyrics, the joy in the music is overwhelming.”
