American actress Emma Roberts reveals she has blocked her mother on Instagram after spilling her pregnancy secret.

Emma Roberts said she was so mad at her mum for confirming reports the star was pregnant.

According to the actress’s mother, Kelly, the Scream Queens star is expecting her first child with beau Garrett Hedlund.

Speaking live on a show, the star shared how her mum, Kelly Cunningham, accidentally broke the news of her pregnancy on Instagram.

“I was keeping my pregnancy pretty low key but unfortunately my mother has Instagram. Which, mothers and Instagram, it’s a bad combination,” Roberts revealed.

“She definitely spilled the beans,” she confirmed.

Joking that buying Cunningham an iPhone is “the worst thing I ever did,” Roberts admitted: “It led to (her) interacting with my fans and just thanking them for all their pregnancy wishes,” the actress said.

“It was a disaster, and I found it all out on a plane, so I couldn’t get to her. I couldn’t call her or attack her,” she added further.

“When I said to her, ‘Mom, you revealed my pregnancy,’ she goes, ‘Emma, you announced it,’” Emma said.

“I said, ‘No, I didn’t. That was a tabloid.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t clear.’” “I blocked her at one point. It was my only weapon. She texted me at 2:00 a.m., ‘Queen, did you block me? Sad face.’ I was like, ‘Yes, I did block you.’ Then I unblocked her. It’s been an Instagram war with my mother that I never saw coming. A good story to tell the baby,” the actress concluded.
