China has opened its theatres for Pakistani movies as the 2018 Pakistani military action film, Parwaaz Hai Junoon, will soon be released in Chinese cinemas.
It will be the first Pakistani movie to hit theatres in mainland China in over three decades.
The movie’s official Instagram account announced the news, “In a historic development for Pakistani films, Parwaaz Hai Junoon, starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hania Amir, and Ahad Raza Mir in lead roles is all set to release in China on November 13, 2020!”
The movie features Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir and Hania Aamir as leading actors. Hamza Ali Abbasi took to twitter and shared his thoughts, “Grateful to Allah that i got to be a part of the 1st Pakistani Film to be released in China after 40 years.”

The movie, directed by Haseeb Hassan, was earlier released in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 4th November, 2018. The movie involves the story of a group of young cadets who become fighter pilots after facing struggles. A fighter-plane JF-17, which was jointly made by Pakistan and China, was also shown in the movie.
