Singer Halsey has been granted a temporary restraining order against a fan who she claims has harassed her and her neighbor.
As per the details, the singer has last week filed the order against a 27-year-old fan in Los Angeles Superior Court. She filed the case after hiring a private investigator to get his data. She mentioned in the filing that she was “fearful of life” because of his actions.
According to the official documents, Halsey hired an investigator on Oct. 2 and, on that date, the investigator says that he listened to a voicemail from Halsey’s neighbor who said “a young gentleman has stopped at his residence looking for [her], under the impression that she lives at his residence. Additionally, the same male has stopped by 4 or 5 times since September this year and had called LAPD a few times.”
On the other hand, the neighbor also claimed that the fan “showed up at his residence with guitar, demanding to speak with Ms. Ashley Frangipane.” The fan allegedly destroyed his guitar on the ground left a netbook behind when the neighbor told him that she does not live there.
The investigator added that per social media accounts he found, he believes that the fan was recently released from a psychiatric ward.
The order was granted on Oct. 23.
‘Without me’ singer also appealed the court to have the fan pay her legal and investigative fees, which are to be determined.
