Pakistani showbiz star Sonya Hussyn has recently launched her own YouTube channel and gains 619 subscribers.
She has always worked and chosen scripts which have thought-provoking messages for our society.
Revealing about why she has started her channel, the actress said, “I thought there should be something to connect directly with the audience and tell them what happens behind the scenes.”
Furthermore, she also revealed about her upcoming film Tich Button, which will be coming on Eid-ul-Fitr.
Moreover, Sonya Hussyn and Sami Khan will star in upcoming drama serial Saraab. In which she will essay the role of a schizophrenic patient.
The Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida starlet on her channel, gave a tour of the set and took interview of Sami Khan. Both the actors shared fun stories from the sets of Saraab.
Sami Khan also detailed why he chose this project and said, “People like my intense acting and they want me to see in such roles. The message of the drama is amazing and we can give lessons through stories to society.”
However, several celebrities including Saba Qamar, Muneeb Butt, Hania Aamir, Arij Fatyma, Zahid Ahmed, Juggun Kazim and others have their own YouTube channels.
Earlier, Sonya Hussyn told her fans that she will go on her social media with a qualified mental health expert. The actress has faced heavy backlash due to her comment online.
Posting about her upcoming drama serial, she mentioned ‘autism’ as one of the symptoms of schizophrenia.
Sonya received criticism as a fan commented that she is the mother of two autistic children and autism is a disorder. “Autism is not a mental illness, it is a disorder”.
To this, Sonya replied, “It is one of the symptoms in schizophrenia”.
Social media users slammed her on her ‘ill-informed’ comment. However, she finally took to Instagram and gave her stance.
