Cardi B, the Hollywood rapper is facing a lot of criticism for hosting a Thanksgiving party of 40 people.
Health officials raised concerns on the eve of Thanksgiving towards holding large gatherings, predicting that new cases would cause significant damage.
On Sunday, the 28-year-old labeled the gathering as “lit”. The party includes 12 children and 25 adults which leads to receiving huge backlash.
The rapper issued a halfhearted apology after witnessing the flood of hostility.
She took to Twitter and penned down, “Sorry my bad wasn’t trying to make nobody feel bad. I just had my family in my home for the first time and it felt so good & uplifted me. I spent soo much money getting everyone tested but it felt worth it. I wasn’t trying to offend no1.”
“People be trying tooo hard to be offended. I wonder how they survive the real world,” she added
