One celebrity who’s been very vocal about the election is Cardi B. Citizens across America have all casted their vote and the “I voted” posts have flooded social media.

Everyone is anxiously waiting to find out who will become the 46th President of the United States as the results are unbelievably close.

Cardi is open about her political stance so it’s not difficult to find out who she voted for in the 2020 presidential election. Initially, she was supporting Bernie Sanders. When he failed to get through to the final stage, she moved her support towards Joe Biden.

She went on to say, “It’s either, like, we go with Joe Biden or Donald Trump. I’d rather go with Joe Biden. I have spoken to Joe Biden before. I think he understands that what we want are simple things, you know what I’m saying? We’re not asking for much, we just asking for certain s**t.”

Around the same time, in an interview with Sirius XM in August, she said she would be “scared of the state of the country” if Trump re-gained power, and explained why she would be endorsing Biden.

The rapper teamed up with Elle to interview Joe Biden. In her interview Cardi firmly told Joe “I just want Trump out” to which he replied by explaining the importance of the young generation voting in this election, because they are the ones who will ensure a Democrat win.

On Election Day, Cardi posted a video to Instagram where she explained that she had got up early to go and vote for Joe Biden.

She said: “Hey guys, I’ve voted. It was easy peasy. The hardest part was getting out the f***ing car.”
