Urwa Hocane, whose real name is Urwa Tul Wusqua Hussain was born in Karachi on July 2, 1991, but raised in Islamabad. She is the eldest child of her family with two younger siblings. Her father is a high-ranking Pakistani officer whereas her mother is deemed a strong and courageous woman. Urwa, from a very young age, knew what she wanted to do and was also bold enough to follow her heart.

Actor and singer Farhan Saeed and Urwa had a grand marriage ceremony which was covered by mainstream media. Beginning with Dholki, Qawwali Night, Nikkah, Reception, and Mehandi, they had arranged a variety of events. On 16 December 2016, their nikkah ceremony was held at Badshahi Masjid. On December 18, 2016, they had a Valima reception. Both of the events took place in Lahore.

According to sources, Urwa and Farhan had irreconcilable differences between them, which became a reason for calling it quits. The couple got engaged in 2016 in Paris. They tied the knot in a simple and intimate ceremony at the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore.
