BTS has been named entertainer of the year by Time Magazine.
The South Korean all-boys band, BTS, which made its debut in 2013, has become popular all over the world with its groovy dance moves, ARMY of fans, and positivity.
Last month in November, BTS got its first major Grammy Award nomination, and its English-language single “Dynamite” became No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Raisa Bruner, Time writer wrote in a profile of the group on Thursday that,
“BTS isn’t just the biggest K-pop act on the charts. They’ve become the biggest band in the world – full stop.”
“And they did it in a year defined by setbacks, one in which the world hit pause and everyone struggled to maintain their connections.”
It should be mentioned here that the popular Korean pop band, BTS was the No.1 most tweeted about musicians of 2020. They remained No.1 for the four straight years in the US. The boyband kept releasing songs and updating the ARMY about their activities.
