Coronavirus has turned everyone’s life upside down. The world is going through some serious problems due to the novel virus. It has damaged people’s lives and routines in ways that no one could have ever imagined.
For the past year, many people had been the victim of the deadly coronavirus, some had lost the battle, however, there are many people who won the fight for their life and recovered from it.
Our very own Pakistani celebrities were also tested positive for coronavirus and defeated the virus by following all the safety precautions.
Here is the list of all the Pakistani celebrities, who contracted and then recovered from coronavirus.
Actress and TV host Nida Yasir and her actor’ director husband Yasir Nawaz, were diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 25 and had been in quarantine till they recovered.

Yasir Nawaz, who recovered from COVID-19 had also donated his plasma for the treatment of Coronavirus patients.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member and singer Abrar-ul-Haq was also diagnosed with coronavirus on May 31 last month.
He tweeted that he had quarantined himself after tested positive for COVID-19 and he will keep performing his duties through Skype as Red Crescent and Sahara worker.

Veteran Pakistani actress Rubina Ashraf who had been fighting against coronavirus for over one month has finally returned to her home. The good news was shared by Rubina’s daughter Minna Tariq.
Rubina Ashraf tested positive for novel coronavirus on June 3rd.

Veteran showbiz actor Behroze Sabzwari was hospitalized after testing positive for the novel Coronavirus.
However, on Thursday (10th Dec), Behroze returned home after recovery.
Son Shahroz Sabzwari confirmed on Thursday. The actor shared an Instagram story where he confirmed that his father (Behroz Sabzwari) is back home ‘healthy and happy.
Tuba Aamir and Amir Liaquat Hussain tested positive for coronavirus on 15th November. They went to quarantine but Aamir was taken to a hospital for treatment.
However, the couple recovered from the novel virus and returned home and are still recovering speedily.

Legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi contracted coronavirus on June 13th, 2020. He took to his Twitter and shared the news with his fans and followers.

Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi announced in July that his wife and two daughters have tested negative for coronavirus.

On 11th December, Pakistan has reported 50 more deaths in the past 24 hours due to the novel coronavirus taking the national fatality toll to 8,653.
According to the Government of Pakistan portal for COVID-19, with the fresh addition of 3,047 cases in the past 24 hours, the national caseload now stands at 432,327.
