Twenty-One Pilots has set the record for launching a music video with the longest duration of 4,200 hours.
The pop band which got fame after the song “Stressed Out” releases another song “Level of Concern” in April.
Twenty-One Pilots also declared that “Level of Concern” will be a never-ending music video. Furthermore, it will smash all the previously set records for being the longest in duration. The song will feature the content that their fans will post on the website.
The final version of the song was decided to be an uninterrupted live stream on YouTube. “Level of Concern” would play on a loop, and new videos from the fans will appear every time thereby making the planned “never-ending” music video.
However, after playing it for continuous 117 days, 16 hours, 10 minutes, and 25 seconds the video eventually stopped. Beginning from 21 June and finishing on 16 December, the team pulled the plug and declared the Guinness World Records.
Formerly, the record was set by Pharrell Williams that lasts for 24 hours who produced a 24-hour music video for “Happy” back in 2013
