BTS band’s follower count doubles after Jungkook’s selfie creates hype

BTS has captured the world with its trendy songs and dance. People around the world have their own BTM ARMY, as the South-Korean all-boys band is being loved by millions.

BTS member, Jungkook created madness on social media with a selfie he posted on Twitter.

A social media analytical tracking website reportedly said that the boy band gained approximately 50k new followers after Jungkook’s post. This figure isn’t just the double amount of the daily average count of followers, but it marks their highest since 2021 started.

In the selfie, Jungkook is seen posing for the picture with blonde hair donned in a black upper. The singer captioned it using a kiss emoji.

With this simple tweet, Jungkook entered Wikipedia’s list of the “Most Retweeted tweets of all time” in a day. This was the first tweet of 2021 to make it to the list.

When BTS was asked to disclose their style heroes in an interview, Jungkook chose RM, saying, “In addition to appearances and musicality, he also has a ‘sexy’ mindset.”

Kookie further went on to say how he does not have a specific style but taking care and grooming oneself could be a method of self-expression.
