Popular foreign actress Tanya Roberts has passed away at the age of 65, her friend Mike Pingel confirmed.

According to the international news agency, she collapsed at her home in the Hollywood Hills on Christmas Eve after she returned from taking her dog out for a walk.

She was taken to hospital and was put on a ventilator, but ‘never got better’. Sources told that she seemed ‘perfectly healthy’ before collapsing and was taking part in video chats with her fans.

She was known for her outstanding role in the 1985 Bond film ‘A view to kill’. She is also famous for her role as Midge Pinciotti in the sitcom, That 70s Show. She appeared alongside Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.

Roberts’ husband screenwriter Barry Roberts, died in 2006. She had no children and they were married for 32 years.

She was born in Victoria Leigh Blum in October 1955 in New York City. She began her career as a fashion model in her late teens. She began studying to become an actress at The Actors Studio with Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen. She married Barry Roberts at the age of 19.
