Tanya Roberts, the popular star of the James Bond movie “A View to a kill”, has passed away a day after incorrect reports about her deaths were spread.
Her publicist and partner have confirmed the news about her death.
Her long-time partner Lance O’Brien and her spokesman Mike Pingel told the international news source that she passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
According to details, Roberts was suffering from a urinary tract infection that spread to her kidney and gall bladder. She was not suffering from coronavirus.
Earlier, the news about her death was mistakenly announced. Mr. Pingel told the international news agency that he mistakenly announced Roberts’ death based on information he received from her partner. However, a call from the hospital confirmed that she was still alive.
Tanya Roberts was known for her role in the 1985 Bond film ‘A view to kill’. She is also famous for her role as Midge Pinciotti in the sitcom, That 70s Show. She appeared alongside Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
Roberts’ husband screenwriter Barry Roberts, died in 2006. She had no children and they were married for 32 years.
She was born in Victoria Leigh Blum in October 1955 in New York City. She began her career as a fashion model in her late teens. She began studying to become an actress at The Actors Studio with Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen. She married Barry Roberts at the age of 19.
