Nicki Minaj’s father dies in an accident

Singer-rapper Nicki Minaj suffered a great loss as her father Rober Maraj passed away after being struck by a car in New York.

As per the details, Robert Maraj, 64, was walking along a road in Long Island on Friday evening when a car hit him before it continued its journey.

Maraj was taken to the hospital where he passed away on Saturday.

Nicki Minaj has not revealed any official statement on the loss yet. But a representative for the singer confirmed the demise.

The death of her father comes a few months after she gave birth to her first child.

Minaj and Kenneth Petty had tied the knot in 2019. They welcomed their first baby reportedly on 30th September in Los Angeles.

She revealed the exciting news on her Instagram that she and her husband Petty have entered parenthood.
